The silver Can't see the wood for the trees locket is about the hidden things.  The things we cannot see, those we choose not too.  Its made with a creative thought on hiding away and the vulnerability. Two delicately small oval halves each measuring approx 1.4cm in width and approx 1cm in height (1.5 with bail).  The two open held by a tube and rivet.  Slightly more contemporary than a traditional locket, this locket slides rather than lifts on the rivet.  Engraved on the front is a single branch.  Into the back a group of five trees, symbolizing the wood.  The rivet could be a full moon. The depth of the piece is 4mm. Each silver locket is one of a kind, each engraving unique. To keep the each half snug and secure two powerful neodymium magnets set into place. The finish is matte satin and inside slightly textured with what could be tree foliage. The piece is made from ecosilver which is 100% recycled silver.
