Autumn birch tree ring – silver and gold with orange garnet
This is the Autumn birch tree ring. These are a series of rings made to denote the turn of each season from one to the next. This one with its deep gold hue represents the falling of amber leaves as each tree gives up its new growth, and each leaf falls gently to the floor.
Three birch trees cut into silver and filled with a soft grey enamel. I have handmade this silver cabochon from scratch and cut each tree out. I have flush set the 1.5mm Orange garnet into place.
The cabochon is set into a 9ct gold claw setting. The bottom of the setting is silver. The silver represents the moon, the gold the sun.
The cabochon measures approx in height 9mm
Width is approx 1.3cm
Depth is approx 6mm
Finished in a soft matte satin.
The ring takes approx 4 – 6 weeks to make but please do contact me if you need sooner as I do carry some items in stock or maybe able to help.
If you are outside the UK and would like a ring I am more than happy to translate sizes – please contact me here.
The birch tree ring is boxed and wrapped and will be sent by tracked delivery.
Rings are fully hallmarked and as each ring is handmade there might be slight variations in detail for instance the trees may look slightly different. You can check out the other seasons and variation in detail here.
